Evolution Characteristics of the Summer Surface Vapor Pressure and the Relation with Precipitation in Recent 30 Years in Henan Province

Using the monthly surface vapor pressure data of 49 meteorological stations in Henan province from 1979 to 2008,evolution characteristics of the summer vapor pressure are studied.The relation between the summer surface vapor pressure and precipitation is discussed.The results are as follows.The summer vapor pressure and precipitation distribution exhibit similar features,they are both showed increasing trend from the northwest to the southeast.The spatial distribution of the summer vapor pressure and precipitation are performance out overall consistent.Based on the Morlet wavelet,the summer vapor pressure has 2 years and 3 to 5 years notable interannual oscillations,while the summer precipitation has the cycle with 2 years and 6 to 7 years.The summer surface vapor pressure and precipitation show mutation from less to more in the late 1980s of the last century by M-K test.
