The effect of rare earth element La on rapidly solidified elevated-temperature Al-Ti alloy

YANG Ming shan (College of Information Engineering,Zhengzhou University,Zhengzhou,450052,China)  
Rapidly solidified Al Ti alloys contains rare earth element La can increase undercooling, can produce fine, uniform dispersion intermetallic phase,with promise of good thermal stability. So, rare earth element can improve mechanics property of RS Al Ti alloy for elevated temperature applications.
