LOU Hai-jun
From a point of international gengeral contract project risk management ,combined with the FIDIC’s conditions of contract for EPC / turnkey project, the international EPC / turnkey project parties’ risk-sharing mechanisms and principles are discussed.According to contract pricing mode, field data, design responsibility, unforeseen difficulties and owner’s risks, the new risk-sharing principles of EPC project are summarized that based on the research of traditional risk-sharing principles, namely, the principle of owners’ fault without duty and the principle of contractors’ unlimited risk duty.In the EPC project engineering practice, the contractor should attach great importance to special risk-sharing mechanism and risk costs of EPC project, establish a correct risk attitude, and take attention to the response of major risk factors.
