Guo Guang-rong Sun Zhi-yuan (Institute for Application of Atomic Energy in Agriculture,Hunan Province)  
A new method of raising mutation frequency of the rice plant was presented in this paper.Plant before young panicle differentiation period were treated with ~(60)Co γ-rays.The radiosensitivity of the treated ma- terial and the mutation frequency of M_2 were observed.The results shew that both mutation frequency and mutation spectrum were raised by this method.
