EFFECT OF IRRADIATION ON SWEET CORN PRESERVATION

Coγ\|ray was used to irradiate newly\|harvested sweed corn and the results showed that the effects of irradiation on soluble solids,sucrose,starch and total sugar were not significant.The viscosity of starch decreased with the increase of irradiation dose.The preservation duration of irradiated sweet corn was 7 days longer than that of CK,and the sweet,smell,taste of sweet corn had no abnormal change.
