Determination of the contents of valuable compositions of Morinda officinalis How in different regions and analysis of its protection for the liver

Purpose: To discuss the relations of valuable compositions of MOH in different regions and its protection for liver lesion. Methods:Total protein,rude adipose,polysaccarides,antraquinone and the protest liver lesion were examined by corresponding methods.Results:Scope of total protein,rude adipose,polysaccarides and antraquinone is 15.99%-18.41%,0.93%-7.27%,2.65%-4.73%,0.024-0.07(OD_(498))respectively;pathological examination indicated that the degree of liver lesion is markedly less severe in the MOH group than in the other group.Conclusions:Valuable compositions of MOH in different regions are significantly different for MOH protection for the liver to some extent.
