THE OBSERVATION OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE ON CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE TREATED WITH DECOTION OF PING GAN XI FENG

orty cases of acute cerebral hemorrhage were treated with Chinese medicine decoction ofPing Gan Xi Feng and westerri medicine. Their effects on the quality of life of the patients wereobserved.The results showed that after one,three,six and twelve months of treatment with thedecoction, the quality of life index(QLI),the cognitive function and theactivity of daily life(ADL) fOr the patients were much better than that before treatment and the western medicinegroup( P0. 01).It is indicated that the decoction of Ping Gan Xi Feng is rapid and obviouslysuperior to western medicine in recovery of the QLI,ADL and the cognitive function of the pa-tients.
