Progress and Research Direction of Treatment Technique for Cobalt White Alloy

With the increasing demand of cobalt and the cobalt ore resources exhaustion around the world,it is significant to treat the cobalt white alloy in a high efficiency and low costing way to meet with the increasing demand of cobalt and the cobalt industry.In this paper,the treating technologies of the cobalt white alloy currently were summarized,there are mainly pyro-hydrometallurgical process and hydrometallurgical process,meanwhile,the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods were presented and the research direction the cobalt white alloy was pointed out.Thinking of the electrochemical dissolution and the heterogenite-white alloy mix leaching will have good prospects.
