An Automizing-Combustion Tehnique for Preparing Nanosize Metal-Oxide Powder Rapidly

The nanosize metal-oxide ceramic powders can be prepared rapidly by means of atomizing-combustion thchnique that the ultra-heated metal melt is atomized by atomizing-burner first through the medium of high-pressure oxygen,then the metal fog will burn up in the combustion chamber.Applying this technique not only Bi2O3,SnO2 and In2O3 ceramic powders have been prepared,but also composite SnO2 /In2O3 nanosize powders have been prepared too,when ultra-heated Sn-In alloy is atomizing-burned. The average diameter of the latter is about 20 nm. It can prepare 1 kg metal oxide powder in only 45-48 seconds.
