Objective: To explore the relationship between epidermal growth factor(EGF),gastrin, somatostatin and inflammatory cytokines and chronic gastritis(CG) in rats. Methods: Rats model of chronic gastritis were established,EGF,gastrin,somatostatin,IL-2,IL-4 and TNF-α from blood of CG model rats were measured by ELISA.Results: EGF,gastrin,IL-2 and TNF-α in model group were higher than those in normal control group.IL-4 was lower than those in normal control group, and there was no difference in somatostatin of normal model groups(P0.05).Conclusions: EGF,gastrin, somatostatin and inflammatory cytokines in blood of CG model rats are correlated with CG,which provides a certain experimental evidence for diagnosis and treatment of CG.
