Research on Strenthening Dissipation with Appropriate Shape of Slit Flip Buck

Slit flip bucket is a new dissipation structure which is applied to the discharge offlood in a canyon where the dam is quite high and the discharge is large. This paper givesanalysis on the dissipation traits of the bucket together with a study of its shape; a preliminary procedure for calculation and design of an appropriate shape of bucket is proposed so asto fit a slit flow(which is common in a canyon)and attain a good effect of dissipation withconsiderable economic rationality.
