Talking about Cooperative Learning and Achievement Goal Theory

SU Hong (Research Institute of Education Science, Southwest Normal University, Chongqing 400715, China)  
Cooperative Learning has been studied for over 100 years, but as a kind of educational strategy, it has gained educators' attention only in the recent years. Achievement Goal Theory was presented in the 1970s as a kind of Motivation Theories. Implementation of cooperative learning teaching strategies and achievement goal orientation have a close relation which can promote the development of our modern education to some degree.
