The Influence of Nihilism in the New Era of History on the Process of Marxism in China

Yin Xuehua;Marxist College of Shanxi Normal University;
In the 1930s, the trend of historical nihilism began in China with the beginning of "the whole westernization theory." It denies history, denies traditional culture, and denies historical figures. It has had different degrees of adverse effects on the Chinese revolution, construction and reform process, and confused people's correct understanding of the scientific theory of Marxism and the scientific achievements of Marxism in China. Entering a new era, this trend of thought has become an indispensable factor that shakes the ideological foundation of the unity and forge ahead of the party and the people, undermines the stable and orderly political situation of contemporary China, and hinders the new journey of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore, adhering to the correct historical view of Marxism, strengthening the theoretical construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, using the modern science and technology network platform and countercontradictory trends, constantly improving and perfecting relevant laws and regulations has become a viable policy for vigilance and correction of historical nihilism under the conditions of the new era.
