Ji Min;College of Liberal Arts, Shanghai University;
The Book of Songs and Sheng Min tells the story of the birth and growth of Hou Ji, who is an ancestor of Zhou and led the Zhou People to agricultural production. Through the analysis of the dual attributes of Hou Ji's God and man, this paper reveals the close relationship between Hou Ji and nature, and explores the harmonious living conditions between Zhou people and animals in Hou Ji myth, the positive farming psychology of Zhou people, the progressive agricultural production level of Zhou people, and the ecological ideas expressed by Zhou people through sacrificial activities such as worship of heaven and earth. Through the analysis of the ecological thought of Hou Ji myth, it helps to understand the interdependence between man and nature in the early period, and has reflective value and enlightenment significance for the realistic ecological construction.
