A New Nonsymmetrical Model of the Sea Surface Pressure and Wind Fields about Typhoon

In the paper the circular symmetrical Fujita pressure model is modified with such typhoon elements as the ambient close characteristic isobar, and the circular nonsymmetrical sea surface pressure model without the parameters concerned and the wind model with the longitudinal wind are introduced respectively. Then the sea surface pressure and wind field in the process of several severely surge calamities in the Zhanjiang area is simulated. The result indicates that the improved model of typhoon pressure and wind field is more convenient and practical.
