Detection Instrument for Visibility Detection Using Single Chip Processor 8031 and 1.064μm Lasers

A new instrument for runway visual range using 8031 single chip processor and 1.064μmlasers is presented. This instrument consists of three partS: optical emitting and receiving system, signal amplifying and controlling system, and display system. The principle, structure and mainspecifications of this instrument are introduced. Key technologies and corresponding solutions are discussed.
