Passive Athermalisation Technique of Infrared Optical System Loading in Missile

The effect on optical system caused by environmental temperature variation and several typical athermalisation techniques as well as theirs’ advantages and disadvantages were presented in this paper. Based on the specialization of infrared optical system loading in missile, it proved that optical passive athermalisation technique is a wise choice. And an optical system with high quality and simple configuration in large working temperature range -30℃~50℃ was designed and evaluated.
