AFFECTING FACTORS ON THE SYNTHESIS 0F 3,4-DICHLOROTROBENZENE FROM O-DICHLORBENZENE BY NITRATION

In the synthesis of 3,4-dichlorotrobenzene from o-dichlorobenzene by nitration,the opti-mal operating conditions are as follows:the molar ratio of nitric acid to o-dichlorobenzene is1.6;the dehydration value of sulphuric acid (D·V·S)is 3.0~3. 10; the acid phase is com-posed of 48% nitric acid-47.5% sulphuric acid-4.5%water and the reaction temperature is 50~60℃ in the nitration of o-dichlorobenzene。 The veild of 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene is 95%,and the conversion ratio of o-dichlorobenzene may reach 99%
