STUDY ON THE ALKYLATION REACTION OF BENZENE WITH LINEAR DODECENE USING ZEOLITE AS CATALYST

The alkylation reaction of benzene with linear dodecene was investigated in a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) using zeolite as catalyst. The influence of ratio of reaction agents on the conversion of dodecene and reaction temperature on selectivity of products was studied. A new liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed reactor (LSCFBR) was designed. The industrial feasibility for industrial benzene with industrial dodecene used in this new reactor was investigated.
