Synthesis of new 8-hydroxy quinoline derivatives

Three new 8-hydroxy quinoline derivatives were synthesized from 2-methyl-8-hydroxy quinoline and benzaldehyde,salicyladehyde and furaldehyde with acetic anhydride as solvent,Influencing factors on the reaction were investigated and optimum conditions were given, Properties of products were charactered by elemental analysis ,IR,UV,1H NMR et al.
