Advances in Catalytic Generation of Hydrogen from Ethanol

Hydrogen is one of the clean fuels in the future. The development of fuel cell, especially fuel cell car, has resulted in an extensive attention to investigation of hydrogen generation from organics, such as methanol and ethanol. Catalytic generation of hydrogen from ethanol has aroused a lot of interests because ethanol can be produced from biomass. The recent advances in catalytic hydrogen generation from ethanol have been reviewed in this paper.
