Analysis of the Main Fatty Acids in Walnut Oil by Capillary Gas Chromatography

LIU Zheng an (Test Cener of Hainan Teachers University, Hainan Haikou 571158, China)  
A capillary GC with programmed column temperature was used for the simultaneous determination of five types of fatty acids in walnut oil. Diluted with hexane, the resul ting walnut oil was used for analysis. It is shown that the five types of fatty acids amount to 97% of total peak area..
