Synthesis of High Oil-absorption Resin by Microemulsion Polymerization——Analysis of the Structure of Micromulsions of SDS solution/n-butanol/MAA/LMA system

Phase diagrams of the sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) solution/n-butanol/methyl acrylate(MAA)/laurat methylmethacrylate(LMA) system were presented,and the structures of the micromulsions were determined with conductivity.At the same time,the effect of the weight ratios of MAA to LMA on the phase region for the system of SDS/n-butanol/MAA/LMA/was also studied.The results showed when the weight ratio of MAA to LMA was 3∶7 or 5∶5,the micromulsion had three structures: W/O structure,bicontinuous structure and O/W structure,and when the weigth ratios of MAA to LMA was 7∶3,a liqiud crystal region appeared along with the above structures.
