Study of Supercritical CO_2 Extraction of Diosgenin with Ethanol Entrainer from Dioscorea Zingiberensis

This article studied the supercritical CO_2 extraction of diosgenin from hydrolyzed dioscorea zingiberensis with ethanol entrainer.The extraction was studied at different temperature time and amount of entrainer.Single factor and orthogonal tests were applied to optimize the extraction conditions.The results showed that the extraction effciency at low loadings is higher.The extraction efficiency is not always increased with the increase of the amount of entrainer,but it is increased with the temperature and the pressure.The optimization conditions are as follows:raw material 100 g,3 h of extraction,pressure 35MPa,temperature 35℃,CO_2 flow rate 10 kg/h,300 mL ethanol as entrainer.Under these conditions,the extraction efficiency is increased to 88.82%.
