Study on Different Acid Doped Polyaniline Composite TiO_2 Photocatalyst

Nano TiO2 powder was prepared by water vapor-hydrolysis,and polyaniline(PANI)/TiO2 composite material doped with different acids was prepared by the method of chemical oxidative polymerization.The influence of hydrochloric acid,sulfuric acid,p-toluene sulfonic acid and amino benzene sulfonic acid on TiO2 photocatalytic activity was investigated by single factor experiments.PANI/TiO2 composite material under UV light and visible light irradiation showed high catalytic behavior when applied to treating dissolved organic matter of KBF dye simulation wastewater.Under the same conditions,polyaniline composite titanium dioxide powder doped with hydrochloric acid gave better result.For the polymerization reaction,the molar ratio of aniline to ammonium persulfate was 1∶2,the reaction temperature was 5℃,and the reaction time was 4h.The activily of nanometer TiO2 photocatalyst was improved by adding different acid doped polyaniline,and the KBF dye was degraded effectively.
