Extraction Kinetic Studies of Enantioselective Resolution of Enantiomers by Chiral Ligand

The kinetic of enantioselective extraction resolution of enantiomers by chiral ligand has been studied,some kinetic equations have been built. The model of distribution behavior of mandelic acid enantiomers in the two-phase system containing Cu 2+ and N-n-dedecane-L-hydroxyproline(L),has been investigated,and the overall mass transfer coefficients were determined from the kinetic equations. The overall mass thransfer coefficients are k_ ovD=8.33×10 -5m/s, k_ ovL=7.75×10 -5m/s respectively for used experimental conditions. The results show that the process of extraction resolution can be forecasted and effectively controlled by kinetic parameters.
