Electrocatalytic Reduction of Nitrite on Horseradish Peroxidase Self-assembled film Modified Copper Electrodes

The copper electrodes were modified with self-assembled film of HRP.In phosphate buffer solution of pH 5.0,the direct electrochemical behavior of the electrodes was studied by cyclic voltammetry and AC impedance.The influences of pH and NO-2 concentration on catalytic effect were also studied.Results showed that the self-assembled film modified electrodes can electrocatalyze the reduction of NO-2 solution effectively,and the optimal pH range is 5.0 to 6.0.The prepared HRP/Cu electrodes showed favourable catalytic capacity in electrocatalytic reduction of NO-2 when C(NO-2)≥2.0mmol/L.
