Studies on the Chemical Components of Oxtropis ochrocephala Bunge II. The Structures of Two Triterpenoid Saponins

Two new triterpenoid saponins 1 and 2 were isolated from the total saponin mixture of Oxtropis ochrocephala Bunge. The structures of 1 and 2 were elucidated as 3-ο[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→4)-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-soyasapogenol B and 3-ο- [α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl (1→4)-β-.D-glucuronopyranosyl]soyasapogenol B, respectively by spectral analysis and chemical transformations.
