The Mechanism of CS_2 Aerosol Formation

The paper studies the kinetics of CS2 aerosol formation by measuring the time of irradiation necessary for detecting the aerosol particle visually. The proposed mechanism consistent with the observations. The rate coefficient of the assumed rate - determining step, as well as of other elementary steps, is obtained. The paper also studies the influence of both added gases and temperature upon the aerosol formation.
