Study of graphene oxide used in horseradish peroxidase biosensors

This article studied the synthesis method of graphene oxide and the applications of graphene oxide in biosensors.Natural graphite powder was oxide by Hummer method to obtain oxide graphite.Graphene oxide(GO) was synthesized using ultrasonic dispersion to strip graphite oxide films in distilled water.The morphology of graphene oxide was characterized by infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope.A hydrogen peroxide sensor was prepared by modifying glassy carbon electrode with the synthesized graphene oxide,chitosan(CHIT),prism Au nonaparticles(prism AuNPs) and horseradish peroxidase(HRP).The influence of the experimental conditions such as pH and applied potential on the electrochemical behavior of biosensor was studied.Experimental results show that the sensor is of quick response,high sensitivity,good reproducibility and stability.
