Preparation and application of the copper ion voltametric sensors based on molecularly imprinting technology

A novel voltammetric sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymer film has been developed for copper ion detection. The sensitive film was prepared by co-polymerization of o-phenylenediamine and copper ion on the carbon nanotubes modified glassy carbon electrode. The molecularly imprinted sensor was characterized by differential pulse voltammetry( DPV) and cyclic voltammetry( CV). Under the optimum conditions,the linear relationships between current and logarithmic concentration were obtained in the range from1. 0 × 10-10to 2. 0 × 10-3mol·L-1,with the linear regression equation Ip=19. 99-1. 666lgC( I: μA,C: mol·L-1),correlation coefficient 0. 9920. The detection limit of 1. 8×10-11mol·L-1was achieved( S/N = 3). This sensor was used successfully for Cu2+determination in drinking water.
