Research progress of salt-resistant superabsorbent polymer for desalination to earthen ruins

It is important to choose suitable superabsorbent to remove the soluble salt in earthen ruins by adsorption. The present situation and developing process of the superabsorbent materials were discussed in this article and it is the highlights when it was applied in earthen ruins to desalination. The mechanisms of the desalination were introduced. The existing problems and prospects on application of superabsorbent to desalination in earthen ruins was mentioned.
