DETERMINATION OF ROSAVIN AND SALIDROSIDE IN RHIZOME OF 4 DIFFERENT PLANTS FROM RHODIOLA L.

OBJECTIVE To determine the contents of rosavin and salidroside in representative plants of Rhodiola L. from China. METHODS HPLC method was adopted. RESULTS and CONCLUSION The rosavin and salidroside contents in 5 R.rosea samples from different areas are in the range from 0.08% to 0.6% , and 0.265% to 0.747%,respectively;None of the R.crenulata from 3 different areas,the R.Kirilowii from 3 different areas and the R. Sachalinensis from 1 area contain rosavin while salidroside contents in these species are in the range from 0.3% to 1.2% .
