Objective:To study the distribution and clinical significance of sentinel lymph node(SLN) in gastric cancer. Methods:Before the radical gastrectomy was performed, the carbon nanoparticles suspension injection was injected into the gastric wall and then SLN was identified and removed. Results:Among 38 cases included, the SLN was identified successfully in 34 cases. The number of lymphatic metastatic cases is 31,within them SLN metastasis was found in 25 cases, the accurate rate is 80.6%(25/31),non-SLN metastatic rate is 19.4%(6/31).Conclusions:Detection of SLN has significant value in gastric cancer surgery.
