Improvement on Flax Fabric Dyeability for Padding

The modification to flax fabric with urea at high temperature was carried out inorder to improve the dyeability of flax fabric for padding.The influence of urea solution concentration,treatment temperature and treatment time on the modification to flax fabric were studied.The improvement mechanism of flax fabric dyeability improved was discussed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis to flax fabric.Change of tensile strength of flax fabric before and after modification was measured.
