The Study on Flax Fabric Pad-dyeing by Microwave

The dyeing eolour depth of flax fabrie was dissatisfied during traditional high temperature pad-dyeing.Microwave was applied during flax fabric pad-dyeing in order to improve the dyeing colour depth.The dyeing conditions including microwave power and dyeing time were studied.The opti- mum dyeing conditions were got based on the comparison between the microwave dyeing method and the traditional dyeing method,and the effects of mi- crowave and traditional methods on tensile strength of dyed flax fabric were also measured and compared.The dyeing colour depth of flax fabric was im- proved during microwave pad-dyeing,and this technology was possible to applied to the manufacture of flax fabric dyeing.
