METHODS OF HEAVY METAL POLLUTION EVALUATION FOR OFFSHORE SEDIMENTS

The authors introduce several methods to evaluate heavy metal contamination such as geoaccumulation index, potential ecological risk index and sediment enrichment factors, and point out the strong points and shortcomings of the methods.
