Hydroelastic analysis of VLFS using Plate Green Function Method

In this paper, the main work is done to study the hydroelastic response of Very Large Floating Structures (VLFS) using the deflection function developed by Eatock Taylor Ohkusu for rectangular plates. A comparison of the theoretical method-based solutions with experimental results has shown a good agreement. It is concluded that Eatock Ohkusu's deflection function can be used to analyze the hydroelastic response of very large floating structures.
