Discussion on comparability of water polluting monitor in Haikou Bay

CHEN Chun-hua~1, GU Shang-li~2, WANG Dao-ru~1(1. Marine Exploitation Plan & Design Research Institute of Hainan Province, Haikou 570203, China;2. (Marine) (Monitoring) and Forecasting Center of Hainan Province, Haikou 570211, China)
The PO~~(3-)4 monitoring results for nearly ten years taken in Haikou Bay were analyzed. It is shown that the average values of every station in evey year and season could't indicate the polluting development due to the monitoring comparability problem. It is (difficult) to the government to manage the marine environment of Haikou Bay based on the monitoring results gotten with much (fund) and could't serve get the environment benefit. The monitoring comparability problem was studied from water exchange and (meteorogical) condition, and showed that the sampling time should be selected in nearly same weather condition and one day (continuous) monitor station should be located in the middle bay. The average value of the pollutants concentrations in ever time of one day way mostly solve the monitoring comparability problem.
