Engineering Computation of the Sandwich Type Transducer's Longitudinal Vibration

Wang Qingchi(Department of Oceanography, Xiaman University, 361005)  
A method for computing the resonant frequency of the Sandwich-type Transducer is presented in this paper. Based on the fact that the thickness of the vibrator is equivalent to the half wave-length of the basic wave, the frequency equation for the Sandwich Transducer's longitudinal vibration is deduced so that the Computation of the resonant frequence becomes simple and easy. The experimental results show that the method is both convenient and accurate in the computation and is suitable for the computation of the resonant frequency of the Sandwich Transducer's longitudinal vibration.
