Monitoring Technology,and Prevention and Control Measures for the Red Tide

With the increasingly serious marine pollution,the red tide disaster caused by eutrophication of sea water has aroused more and more concern throughout the world.The paper first introduces the generation of red tide and its great harm done to the marine ecological environment,coastal culture and tourist resources or even to the safety of human lives.Then it stresses the monitoring,forecasting,prevention and control technologies for the red tide and elaborates the principles of qualitatine judgement for the reliable forecast of red tides,the scientific bases of forecast and the testing models.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the methods of preventing and controlling the red tide commonly used both at home and abroad,the paper puts forward suggestions or the future research of preventing and controlling the red tide.
