Data dissemination mechanism with node negotiation in opportunistic sensor networks

The problems of the cost of network communication,dissemination delay and reliability in the process of data dissemination in opportunistic sensor networks this paper proposes a performance-balanced and energy-efficient dissemination protocol EEDP(energy efficient dissemination protocol) based on node dynamic negotiation.The main idea of this mechanism is every node keeps a factor called disseminated ability which is decided with the node′s energy level and the probability of meeting the dissemination objects nodes.Then in the process of data dissemination,with a greedy method,the nodes with more disseminating ability are dynamically chosen to disseminate the data.Simulation experiment results show that the proposed mechanism can achieve better balance between the cost of communication,dissemination delay and reliability.
