An Automatic Control System in DCS Manner for a Three Dimensional Storehouse

Better control and management for a three dimensional storehouse are required as the house occupies a larger area and the management is more complicated. The composition and operation of an automatic control system in DCS manner are described. The system consists of a host as its main station and several stackers and carriers for going in and out the 6 PLC controlled substations. The host communicates with the substations by means of agreement and interactive query. The communication agreement, the communication mode as well as the operation of the DCS system are described. In addition to more reliable components and sets, the system provides double redundancy and double optic probe to improve the reliability. The MTBF of the whole system can reach as many as 64000 hours.
