USING ION SELECTIVE ELECTRODE TO STUDY THE THERMODYNAMICS OF SOLUTION ⅠⅩ.Determinations of Relative Partial Molar Free Energies, Enthalpies and Entropies of RbCl in Water and Mixtures

The reversible cells consists of the Corning monovalent cation selective electrode(M + ISE) and choloride selective (CI - ISE) electrode,namely Cl - ISE/RbCl( m ),H 2O(1- X ),DMF (X )/M + ISE.The electromotive forces (- E /mV) of the measured cells have been detemined at seven temperatures from283.15 K to 318.15 K,and activity coefficients( γ ±),temperature coefficients (ln γ ±/ T) p,m i of the activity coefficients and relative partial molar free energies (G B,R ),enthalpies ( H B,R ) and entropies ( S B,R ) of RbCl in water and H 2O DMF mixtures at above experimental temperatures have been calculated.The behaviors of change of relative partial molar properties of RbCl with molar fractions( X ) of DMF in the mixed solvents and concentrations (m i) of the solution were discussed on the bases of theory of electrolytic solution.
