An Investigation of Traditional Islamic Enlightenment in North China

The traditional Islamic enlightenment in North China is also known as free private Islamic school,primary Islamic school or Islamic school for preschoolers,etc. In history,it has formed a fairly robust school system and system of Islamic classics study. Having laid the foundation for traditional Muslims' Islamic outlook,the enlightenment aims at helping Muslims to learn basic Islamic doctrines so as to be able to read Koran without help and properly perform religious rituals in the light of religious morality. In modern times,the rise of new Hui education has pushed forward the improvement of traditional Islamic enlightenment. And the combination of traditional Chinese cultures and current developments would still have an impact on the modern Islamic enlightenment in North China.
