Advances in Research of Th17 Cells in Children with Bronchiolitis

Bronchiolitis is a common disease in children younger than 2 years old, which is also associated with asthma. Respiratory syncytial virus is the main pathogen. By now, the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis is still unknown. Recent findings show that T helper type 17(Th17) cells play an important role in the pathogenesis of bronchiolitis. This review summarizes the research of the relationship between Th17 cells and bronchiolitis in recent years.
