Simultaneous Determination of Metol and p-Dihydroxybenzene in Photographic Waste Water by Kalman Filtering Voltammetry

When the work electrode is the montmorillonite modified polyvinyl chloride / graphite composite electrode and the PH of solution is 5, the oxide peak potential of metol is 310mV, the linear relationship of the peak current and concentration of metol range from 4~*10~(-6)to 32~*10~(-6 )g·mL~(-1)) is very good(I=0.0057+0.6398~*C,R=0.999) and the oxide peak potential of p-dihydroxybenzene is 320mV, the linear relationship of the peak current and concentration of p-dihydroxybenzene range from 4~*10~(-6 )to 32~*10~(-6 )g·mL~(-1) is very good(I=-0.0164+0.9747~*C,R=0.999 ). The metol and the p-dihydroxybenzene in photographic waste water are determined simultaneously by Kalman Filtering Voltammetry , the average rate of recovery of metol and p-dihydroxybenzene is respectively 99.47% and 100.06%.
