Evaluation method of multi-phase flow regime features

In order to obtain the sensitive characteristics which reflect the information of the flow regimes,an evaluation method of multi-phase flow characteristics was proposed.Under the condition of water volume flow rate of 1.32-12.15 m3/h,oil volume flow rate of 0.01-0.43 m3/h,air volume flow rate of 0.75-25 m3/h,the differential pressure fluctuation signals of four typical flow patterns of the oil-gas-water three-phase flow which were taken in the vertical upward pipe were gathered and taken as the analysis object,and the denoising pressure fluctuation wave signals were decomposed by empirical mode decomposition(EMD) method,wavelet method,wavelet packet method.The EMD energy feature,EMD kurtosis coefficient feature,wavelet packet energy feature,wavelet packet information entropy feature and wavelet energy feature of four flow regimes were separately extracted.From three aspects of the sensitivity,stability,instantaneity,five extracted features were compared and appraised,thereby establishing a sort of evaluation criteria of the flow regime feature,and the corresponding algorithm was given out.The results show that the evaluation method proposed is effective and feasible.
