Adsorption performance of QCS-PS anion exchange membrane for Cr~(6+)

The quaternized chitosan(QCS) was prepared by nucleophilic substitution technology with chitosan as material,2,3-epoxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride as etherifying agent.The anion exchange membrane QCS-PS was prepared by adding polystyrene(PS) emulsion with QCS as material,glutaraldehyde(GA) as crosslinker.The results showed that the optimum adsorption condition was the mass fraction of PS emulsion 27%,adsorption time 150min,pH value 6,Cr6+ initial mass concentration 10mg/L,the mass fraction of GA 0.32%.Under this condition,Cr6+ adsorption capacity of anion exchange membrane QCS-PS and membrane CS was 4.91,1.66mg/g respectively.
