Differences Attitudes to Side Effects of Antipsychotic Drugs Among Patients, Family Members and Doctors

Objective To explore if there are some differences in patients, family members and doctors, to evaluate the side - effect of antipsychotic drugs. Methods Using self-made questionnaire, we investigated the patients, the family members and the doctors about the side effect of antipsychotic drugs face to face. Results There are some differences in assessment of the side effects of antipsychotic drugs among the patients, the family members and the doctors. Conclusions The findings have implications for clinicians that we should pay more attentions to the patients and the family members' attitudes about side - effects of antipsychotic. It is very important to improve the compliance.
